Yeily

UPDATE: Yeily and Habijai have been sponsored!

I am so happy to announce that, over the last week, 3 new sponsorships have begun in anticipation of our upcoming sponsor tour to Honduras! And it makes me even happier to say that one of the children who were recently sponsored is Jafeth, a boy who made his way into my last 2 posts. Praise God!

Right now, however, I would like to introduce you to a precious little girl named Yeily. Yeily is 5 years old and attends the same project as Habijai (the boy from my last post, who is still waiting for a sponsor). Her birthday is March 3, 2007. Yeily lives with both parents, enjoys playing with dolls and bicycling, and the average income in her community is $150/month. Common illnesses in the area include malnutrition, parasites and respiratory diseases. She lives 15km southeast of San Pedro Sula in Honduras.

I'm pretty sure Yeily may be a future "Miss Honduras." She is stunning!

As with Habijai and Jafeth, I am offering a few different things. First, I will buy and deliver a small gift on your behalf (in this case, a small doll for Yeily). I will also be able to meet her for you and take some extra photos. I will then be happy to mail you a CD of all the photos from that special meeting, as well as the entire project visit so that you can learn more about her project and community.

This is sure to be a special experience for Yeily, her new sponsor, and also for me!

And don't forget about handsome Habijai, who is still waiting...

If you are interested in sponsoring either of these precious children (or any other child from the 2 projects we will be visiting), please email me at CompassionAdventure@yahoo.com - thank you!
